About Wildflower Farm

A family farm with a big heart

Barn wedding with fresh florals
Our Story

It started with a field
and a dream

Wildflower Farm began when we decided we wanted something different, a life rooted in the land, close to the people around them, and honest about where things come from. What started as a small plot of flowers on Pooley Road has grown into something we never quite planned, but always hoped for.

We still walk the rows most mornings. We know which beds are ready, which ones need another week, and which varieties the bees are favouring that season. Our kids help with harvests, workshop setup, and the occasional barn sweep before a wedding. It's messy and real and ours, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We opened the barn because people kept asking to visit. We started workshops because folks wanted to learn, not just buy. Every wedding we host feels like an extension of our table, intimate, unhurried, surrounded by flowers we grew ourselves. That's the whole point of this place.

What We Stand For

The things that
guide us

These aren't marketing words, they're how we run the farm, how we treat our neighbours, and what we want every bouquet and barn visit to feel like.

Environment

We grow without shortcuts, healthy soil, seasonal planting, and practices that leave the land better than we found it. The flowers reflect that care.

In practice: Composting, seasonal rotation, no unnecessary sprays.

Community

This farm belongs to Prince George. Whether you're picking up a bouquet, joining a paint night, or saying vows in our barn, you're part of what we're building.

In practice: Workshops, local delivery, barn doors open.

Freshness

Our flowers are cut when they're ready, not shipped from somewhere else. You can tell the difference, and we think that's worth protecting.

In practice: Cut the morning you order, not weeks earlier in a cooler.
